If you are planning to eat an English restaurant, you’re going to have to do 3 things: ask for a table, order your meal and pay. You won’t be able to eat without doing that 😉 But, the good news is, those 3 things come with lovely fixed phrases that you can learn to sound completely natural!

When you arrive at the restaurant, say:
“Do you have a table for 3?“
When you are ready to order your food, say:
“I’ll have the chicken pie please?“
When you want to leave, say:
“Can we have the bill please?“
