My name is Nicki and I am based in Portsmouth, on the south coast of England. You can often find me sitting on the stony beach with a good book!
I’ve been teaching English to students from all over the world for fifteen years now, which has given me experience with every level and nationality.
During this time, I’ve worked at some of the top English language schools in the UK and I’ve helped to train other teachers and run English language workshops. I hold both a Cambridge CELTA (A grade) and Cambridge Delta qualification (Distinction for teaching practice).

I believe that everyone can learn English with a little bit of time, a lot of motivation and some support from a qualified, experienced teacher. I really enjoy helping my learners overcome their challenges and feel the joyful satisfaction of a successful conversation in English.
Over my years of teaching, I’ve realised that you don’t always need lots of grammar rules and complicated structures to be able to talk fluently. You just need to start recognising key vocabulary and language patterns – this is where I can help you!
