Express yourself with these ‘tired phrases’

Work, chores, kids – Some days can be pretty tiring, don’t you think?! So these ‘tired phrases’ are perfect to describe those kind of days.

Forming the adjective

It’s important that you know how to use the adjective properly

I’m tired – use tired to describe how you (or somebody) feels

This is tiring – use tiring to describe the situation

You could also modify tired to show different levels of tiredness

  • I’m a bit tired
  • I’m quite tired
  • I’m very tired
  • I’m extremely tired

Common ‘tired phrases’

But, if you want to say that you’re VERY tired, then these ‘tired phrases’ are perfect:

I’m exhausted

I’m shattered

I’m knackered

I’m done in

I’m on the verge of collapse
