Love expressions we love!

We love to talk about love!! So in today’s lesson, we’re learning some really natural love expressions and vocabulary to talk about relationships.

Love Expressions & Relationship Vocabulary

My cousin had a whirlwind romance. She met her husband in April and 8 weeks later they tied the knot!

Daniel really fancies Jessica but he’s too shy to ask her out!

My grandparents are childhood sweethearts. They met at primary school and they’re still together now!

Jack and Chris got off on the wrong foot but now they’re crazy about each other!

For my Dad, it was love at first sight. Mum says she didn’t like Dad at first but he grew on her!

Carl dumped Kylie because she cheated on him!

Sarah and Alex met on a blind date and fell in love instantly!

Julie and Tom split up last year but they still get on really well.

Sara’s got a crush on her badminton coach but he’s going out with someone else.

Mia and Dave just got back together after a year apart and they are completely loved up!

    I enjoy to “fall in love” = tomber en amour in quebecois, it’s an old french turn of phrase. I Believe it’s a great image of love โค
    I enjoy too ” fancy somebody”, a little word to say a lot !
